I was tasked with designing a folded flyer for a local community event using only 2 colours.

I chose Randwick Toy Swap as I wanted to take on the challenge of appealing to both parents and children. I researched what designs grabbed each group’s attention, with children liking activities and cute illustrations whilst parents preferred simplicity and clarity.

My solution became providing activities that would extend the flyers interest, with children taking it home to their parents who will appreciate the clearly laid out event details. The risograph printing provided a friendly youthful tone and enabled me to create a 3rd colour from layering 2 colours which added visual interest.
